Art of ReUse Contest Top 10 Finalist Discord Threads

A HUGE congratulations to Discord Threads (Kelleyanne Wank) who came in the top 10 finalists of the Art of ReUse contest.  Featured on the Today show and known nationally, Discord Threads specializes in creating gorgeous upcycled clothing.  Please visit her Artfire shop to see all her latest fashions or to request a custom order.

Once again, Kelleyanne, congratulations!!!

Kelleyanne recently purchased a brand new serger from AllBrands.com.  Both in the AllBrands.com ad and on her invoice, the serger she bought was supposed to come with 12 cones of thread, 8 additional feet and 10 needles, none of which was in her package.  She contacted the AllBrands.com about it and they said it was a typo and refused to honor the ad or her invoice.  Repeated emails and phone calls rendered the same result--they would not honor what they had advertised.  You can read more about it here:

Getting Married?

If you are, congratulations!  My etsy friend and seller, rtisan, has a lovely collection of beautifully handmade bridal hair fascinators, veils, and bridal jewelry.  She will do custom orders, too, so matching your bridal accessories to your wedding colors is easy!  She also has a lovely supply of handmade body sprays and bath soaks which would make wonderful gifts for your bridesmaids (or anyone else, for that matter).

How about wedding invitations?  My etsy friend and seller, Drum Chick Designs, offers you beautifully made handmade rubber stamps, perfect for making your own wedding invitations!

Ok, so now you're fairly set.  You've got your dress, you've got all your pretty bridal hair accessories, jewelry, and bridal gifts from rtisan, you've got your rubber stamp from Drum Chick Designs for the invitations.  The day is fast approaching and you need just one more item--a manicure.

Well, here you go.  My etsy friend and seller, Saburkitty, has the most beautiful artificial nails in the world, positively perfect for your wedding.  They are miniature works of art and she has a wide variety of styles to choose from.  Stop by her shop to find the ones you simply have to have!

Once again, congratulations!  May your married life be full of dreams and abundance.  :-)

And, Two More New Paintings

One of these paintings is very similar to another recently posted painting.  That is because I had another order for the original painting so painted a similar one for the new owner, bless her heart!  Each painting is 36x24 and costs about $100.

Each is 36x24 and costs about $100.  The flowering tree is made with teal and pink flowers (or leaves, as the case may be).
